Just sayin You Hoo

Today, I am showing a layout for LDRS creative. I have been sitting here with all my sweet papers and fantastic dies from LDRS creative, and thinking that I should make a layout. I love creating layouts, and often I create them in layers, in a mixed media style.

I have used white cardstock as a background paper, and slightly coloured it with distress oxide to mach the papers I wanted to use. The papers are from Time for Tea cardstock.  This is such a supersweet pack of papers, and I could not resist these flamingos. The white dragonflies are made with dies from the Allifair Build-A-Card Die Set.

The text stamps and the pink flowers are made with stamps and dies from Hooty Owl - Stamps & Dies.

Congratulations

Two year ago, I found this sweet pirate stamp from LDRS. The stamp is called Corsair and it is one of the sweetest pirat stamps I have ever seen. The stamp has been stamped with Archival ink on water colour paper and painted with distress ink with a very thin paint brush.

The background paper is from Pink Paislee: #06 - Summer Lights. The word "Gratulerer" has been created with Rayher glitter tape and the die Gratulerer from papirdesign.  The shells and the metal shapes is from a sea shore packet from Rayher. Diecuts has been made with dies from Rayher: Wavesvine,  shells and boats. The button is from papirdesign.

Wishing you all a happy evening :)

Magnificent Beauty in every way

Today, I am showing you a shaped card created with the sweet Polkadoodles Tea - riffic image. This is such a sweet image and supersweet collection. The paper used for the card is the Time for Tea Paper pack. I coloured the image with distress ink.

Around the image, I used the flowers an swirl from the Magnolia Splendor stamp set. These has been stamped with distress oxide.

The card has been created with the Allifair Build-A-Card Die Set. I have diecut one sheet of cardstock with the large die in the set and folded the diecut in the middle. Then I added a diecut created with the smaller die, to create the background for the image. This is a simple and different way of creating a shaped card.

I also decided to go wild with some of LDRS creative's dies on this card. I just love the different shapes. The image has been diecut with the Fancy Rectangles & Layers Die Set. The tags in the right, top corner has been created with dies from the same set. The leaves behind the flowers has been created with Grace Build-A-Card Die Set. This leave die is probably one of my most used dies - I just love these leaves. I have also used the Basic Cutting Edge Borders I to create a lace, under the image.

Happy crafting :)

Dream catcher necklace

Hobbykunst has got some fantastic dream catchers necklaces in the shop. There are three different types. The necklace has been packed in a small flat acrylic ornament, so you can even use the packaging to create something else out of. Everything you need, is in the little box. You only need jewelry pliers as extra equipment.

All instructions are in the box with the pieces for the necklace. First, you add the string aroung the circle. Then you create the "cobweb". Then you add the feathers, metal feather, beads and the necklace piece.

Totally, I have used about 30 minutes to create the necklace.

The packaging was used to create a shakerbox at the front of a minialbum:
